Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), occurs annually in November. The day is to memorialize transgender and gender-variant women, men and youth who have lost their lives as a result of anti-transgender violence, for being who they truly are.

This service will be a traditional reading of the names and a candle light vigil will be part of the service as we remember those who have suffered, as result of violence against Gender Variant / Transgender Persons.
Please come and help us make the incidence of transgender violence visible to stakeholders like police, the media, persons of all faiths, LGBT community, Indiana residents, and elected officials.
Please join us for this Evening Vigil and Community Awareness
After the service there will be a small reception featuring light refreshments and conversation about Transgender issues. The event provides a forum for transgender communities and allies to raise awareness of the threat of violence and the persistence of prejudice felt by the transgender gender-variant community.
